# Official USC Career Resources

You already paid for these. Most of the cohort never opens them. Every link below is USC-official, checked as live, and re-verified each August — anything that dies gets removed, not left to rot.

## Practice tools (the ones worth your hours)

**[Big Interview](https://careers.usc.edu/resources/big-interview/)** — AI mock interviews. Record yourself answering, get automatic feedback on your answers, filler words, and pacing. For second-language speakers this is the highest-value tool on this page: unlimited private reps, no audience, no judgment — practice the same answer ten times before a human ever hears it.

**InterviewStream** — Marshall's interview practice platform: hundreds of questions, record responses, send to a trusted advisor for feedback. Reached through the Career Services hub below. Pairs naturally with a cell: record, swap with a classmate, critique each other's takes.

## The humans

The tools are practice; the coaching is aim. Graduate Career Services runs **one-on-one career strategy, mock interviews, case/technical prep, and offer-negotiation coaching** — booked through MCSO. The toolkit's whole outreach section assumes you'll combine both: rehearse with the tools, calibrate with a coach, then go talk to real people.

## Why this list is short

Two rules keep it honest:

1. **Official only.** Third-party tools get bought, sunset, and paywalled — VMock, USC's own AI resume tool, was discontinued in June 2026, and three Marshall page links died in a site restructure within a month of this page going up — which is exactly why every link here gets re-verified. USC's official pages are where replacements appear; link the source, not the snapshot.
2. **Verified or removed.** Every link here is checked by the site's link gate and re-reviewed each August. A resource list you can't trust is worse than no list.
